A fine savour on simple pleasures

My aim is to reduce the tension in my mind by sharing my thoughts and experiences in the things that I love; which I could not express openly due to circumstances. Be it in doing stupid things, experimenting on new recipes, failings in research work, writings..just some doodle ranting stuff

Seoul Garden, IOI Mall Puchong

Again! I went to this heavenly paradise for Korean crazed foodie out there..it is soooo sooooo soooooo lovely *in drunken happiness* It was a drive of about 30 mins from UPM Serdang via the Bukit Jalil highway..we went there for lunch juz now..mi lovely friends, Iera and Noly pluss moi togather2.. a really spontaneous decision coupled with a glance from the google map *giggles* coz before I went there wif my darling hubby on our 1st wedding anniversary last christmass huhu

Why did we go there during lunch time on a tuesday you say ? coz got promotions for students mah~<3 After dividing the bills among us, its juz about rm25.20/person with drinks f.o.c!! Tell cha wat!! XD Normally it'll be rm30++ when I went there previously..the power of a student can't be denied yeah! When entering the diner, we havta pay first, then will be seated. The seats are not many..but a table is suitable for 4 person..and on top of the table was a hot pot with a solid iron cast grill encircling it.

The grill+hot pot combo..where can i get one of these..hmm..

We barbecue our marinated beefs, chickens and fish here..and in the hot pot, there'll be the soup of our choice, whether it'll be herbed soup, chicken soup or tomyam..if add rm2, can get kimchi soup and extra hot tomyam soup..hence we juz settle with tomyam soup..the taste is bland, and juz hot..that's why what i did was put in lotsa radish and cabbage kimchi to make it into kimchi jjigae *totally in love* and put in a dash of chilli+garlic+soy sauce in, walah! it becomes a really presentable jjigae huuuu..then baru la dump in all the veges and balls..so deliciously mouthwatering..

Just enuf barbequing! Quickly pop in mouth! Superrrrr.. drooling..drooollinggg..

Kimchis made from chinese cabbage (1 o'clock), lotus root (7 o'clock) and radish (11 o'clock)...Radish was the most delicious..surprisingly..coz i really hate radish hoho..

The most delicious flavours were bulgogi, szechuan, tomyam, blackpepper ..Other lovely veges present were lettuce, shitake mushroom in thin slices, chrunchy fungus, baby corns, seasoned cucumber, seasoned dry tofu, fish fillet filled okras besides the well seasoned cabbage and radish kimchi..we also ate many flavours of ice cream..chocolate, yam, vanilla, pudina, wintermelon with crushed cornflakes, raisins and ground nuts..sinfully delicious..sumore got ABC prepared amaturedly by Iera..tsk2, too sweet..over rose syrup..even the canned coconut were really hard until Noly spit it out haha..but I still ate it..d foodie i am..oh ya..got some fruits for desserts too..watermelon and honeydew..

The selections..

We stayed there for..ehem..2h like dat..imagine how much food these lady students ate..they mustve gotta refilled so many times..even the grill was changed 3x :P i glanced infront as well as at the back..no change..really, we ate our worth of rm25 XD

Truth be told, we can't actually take pictures here..I think I know why..coz the authenticity of the marinades present here could not be found anywhere..but then, I truly love korean cooking and did apply some of the receipes by Maagchi. Hence, I do know how to make the marinades. It is simply marvelous and of course, original.
